The section where you get swarmed by red guys, is that possible to pass? I have tried 3 times and it seems impossible.

I have no idea where to go after getting the codex? a bug maybe? the passage the elder opened is no where to found...
Sorry about that haha, the passage wasn’t being opened, bug is fixed so should work now!
